Duties for each Gauguin site
This page collects the duties of each Gauguin site. It is meant to help each
of us to remember them all. If you spot that I have missed some, email me and
I'll update this page.
- Every 3 months, send an email to Matthew summarising the state of your
site's activity: who you've employed, starting when and continuing until when.
What your plans are for employing people. What reports you have sent in, or
when the next one is due. [We'll propose an example structure for this.]
- Satisfy the promised number of person-months of employment of young
researchers at your site.
- See that each young researcher produces the reports required of them, and
sends them in to Glasgow for circulation (by email, paper, a web page). These
are required at the end of their contract and at the end of every 12 months of
their employment.
- a report on their research. Published papers are fine, with just a brief
pointer to them.
- a report on their training: what they learned.
- Attending the Gauguin workshops. Getting your young researchers to present
at them.
- Consider putting on a tutorial at a workshop as a contribution to training
Gauguin people.
- Doing your share of hosting a Gauguin workshop.
- Requesting the money owed you under the grant.
