I'm a lecturer in the Department of Computing Science of the University of Glasgow.

Research

My main research interest is in UIST (user interface software technology), especially software and notational tools for user interface construction. I dabble in system evaluation and educational computing, too.

Other Stuff

My other passion (apart from work!) is cycling. I'm particularly proud of our custom-built Longstaff tandem. On weekends Bev (my wife) and I try to get out for a ride somewhere near home.

I've also been known to play the trumpet sometimes.
