My main research interests lie within the field of Cognitive Neuroscience, specifically decision making. My current project aims to compare the spatiotemporal neural characteristics of choice selection under social and non-social uncertainty. This will involve the use of simultaneous EEG/fMRI as well as computational modelling to uncover the evidence accumulation processes that form the basis for the two decision-making subtypes. My undergraduate and master studies involved the investigation of the cognitive mechanisms underlying irony detection under linguistic ambiguity.
