Developmental prosopagnosia

Developmental prosopagnosia (DP) is a developmental disorder defined by severe face recognition deficits. My lab has had the opportunity to test more than 100 DPs over the last five years, and I will discuss work that provides background on the condition including prevalence, associated conditions, the neural basis of DP, and cognitive heterogeneity within DP. I'll also discuss experiments with DPs examining face detection, familial prosopagnosia, and dissociations within face processing.
