What do we know about ASD prevalence?

This week's discussion will be led by Dr. Ken Aitken. Ken is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Health and Wellbeing, Glasgow University & Medical School, University of St Andrews, a Lead Researcher on the TIC Project, Napier University and Lothian Health Board, and an Ad-Hoc Advisor on Autism to the Scottish Minister for Health. Ken is going to discuss the prevalence of ASD: what we know about it, what are some recent findings and what are the underlying assumptions. He is also going to discuss why is this information important both for clinicians and researchers.
