HOW TO USE PDFS AS IMGS

Can do:

This shows that you can use PDF anchor-syntax to pre-scroll, scale etc. the
pdf doc; plus IMG width to crop it.

OR do
<object data="yourfile.pdf#fitH"     type="application/pdf"
	style="background:transparent url(AnimatedLoading.gif) no-repeat center;"
	>
<OBJECT ...> is like IMG, but for other media types, including PDF.
Can take html and so embed another page in one.


TRANSPARENCY
PDF docs may have transparency in them; and anyway, may act as if white space
is transparent and show the css background underneath ...

css uses a property "opacity:" where 1.0 means not transparent; 0 is.
