Other stuff about this page

This page is to present my (personal) list of contacts to myself, and support searching for them and new ones. It is mainly for targets that are academics; students have to be searched in other ways.

Ideally, what I would like to see in the (in any) university is 3 major tools types for finding info/people:

• Organisation chart; each box clickable to bring up more (lower level) detail; each person clickable for basic info on them e.g. link to their personal page. LTC has an e.g.   myLTCdemo   ltcstaffFailedDemo
• Building floorplan charts: again a hierarchical organisation; clicking gets you down levels; clicking on a room gets you the person. Top level is campus map; then buildings then floors then wings then rooms.   Floor plan demo
• One for discipline / subjects / departments. I've done a crude one of this as indented bullet lists; but it needs xrefs added e.g. for psychology - psychMedicine.
• In fact, really, discs are a network; and repl should be like that: whatever you click on you get its nearest neighbours.
• Both complemented by sorted lists of people (by name), and clicking on them jumps to the right place in each of the above: floorplan, and organisation chart.
