COMMUNICATIVE PROCESSES IN COLLABORATIVE WORK: COMPARISON OF REMOTELY VERSUS CO-PRESENT INTERACTIONS.
During the talk I will describe some of the results from an EPSRC funded grant, which examined the communicative constraints and benefits of using computer supported collaborative tools (video conferencing and shared applications) in a collaborative design task. The talk will focus on analysis of the pragmatic functions of utterances in these task based dialogues, using Conversational Games Analysis.
