SOLVING THE PASSPORT PROBLEM: IMPROVING PHOTO IDENTIFICATION PROCESSES
People are bad at matching images of unfamiliar faces, posing a risk to identity verification procedures. I present data showing that this risk could be reduced by solving problems associated with individual differences, image variation and human-computer integration.
